The Shepparton Art Museum (SAM) is the cultural focal point for Greater City of Shepparton. It has an active exhibitions program that includes curated, local community and touring exhibitions.
Located in the heart of Shepparton at the Eastbank Centre on Welsford St in 2011 it underwent a full redevelopment including the installation of a temperature & humidity climate control system.
The HVAC control system for the airside plant is the COSMOS Open DDC control system manufactured by DEOS in Rheine, Germany & distributed on licence in Australia by DEOS Australia. DEOS AG is a global manufacture of high quality open protocol building management systems, operating since 1967.
All plant & equipment on this site will run via a combination of the following:
- Pre-existing operational strategies which we have simply transferred over to new system.
- Control strategy of our choosing in absence of otherwise known or specified one.
- COBAOPT system
On this project the following zones have been selected to use the COBAOPT System
- Ground Floor Gallery Zone (AC-3)
- Level 1 Gallery Zone (AC-2)
DEOS have not supplied a front end for this project as it was not part of our scope. The brief was to integrate via BACnet/IP with the existing Innotech DDC system.
